Smart Entry & Start System
Forget keys – the Smart Entry & Start System allows you to unlock the doors simply by touching the handle and start the engine at the push of a button. The Smart Entry key contains a transmitter which, without having to get it out of your pocket, allows you to unlock the car and even activates the interior dome light to guide you in the dark as you approach.

Not only a convenient technological advance, it’s also great protection against theft as it renders lock picking virtually impossible. Smart Entry & Start System is available on the Yaris Sol.

Audio
The Yaris grade is fitted with a CD 4-speaker audio system, while the Yaris Luna and Yaris Sol offer as standard a 6-speaker system with the capability to play MP3 or WMA files on CD plus steering wheel audio controls.

Yaris Luna and Yaris Sol also have a digital DSP amplifier with Live Acoustic System to emphasize bass sounds without distorting mid-range notes. Both top grade models can be fitted with our turn-by-turn navigation system.

MultiMode
Available on all engines on Yaris Luna and Yaris Sol grades, MultiMode offers drivers the control associated with manual transmissions plus the convenience of an automatic transmission. You can either automate clutch control while retaining control over gear selection or use the fully automatic option.

MultiMode with automatic clutch control allows you to change between manual and automatic. It operates in three modes: M, which allows sequential gear shift; E, for automatic gear change; and Es, for quicker automatic gear change.
