From the headlights fitted with an automatic dusk sensor to the full map navigation that is available on the Executive and Premium Active grade of the Avensis, the innovative range of equipment options underlines the extent to which the Avensis is an expression of quality and sophistication.
Satellite Navigation
Available on the Executive and Premium Active grades, the navigation system features an optimised audio screen and controller for full map navigation. It can be operated by the new ergonomic remote control or by voice commands in German or English.
The large 7", pop-up colour screen offers many benefits including coverage of 24 countries across Europe and a choice of eight different languages for the audio and graphic directions.
Advanced audio enjoyment
The new sophisticated audio system comes with eight speakers, steering wheel mounted controls and advanced bass quality. It can play MP3 and WMA files and features an Auto Sound Levelizer (ASL) that automatically controls the audio volume according to acoustic levels within the cabin from engine and road noise – ensuring you enjoy a premium sound quality at all times. An in-dash CD changer comes as standard on the Executive and Premium Active grades.
Combi meter
Fitted on all grades, the Combi Meter instrument panel is designed to accelerate access to all essential data such as vehicle status, rev counter and speedometer. On the Sol, Executive and Premium Active grades, it has the added benefit of a trip computer, providing you with useful information on route, including average speed, fuel consumption and driving range.
Air conditioning
Manual air conditioning comes as standard on the Avensis Grade, while dual-zone air conditioning is fitted to the Sol, Executive and Premium Active grades. This features a variable compressor, which optimises power usage according to demand and driving conditions and so contributes to fuel efficiency.
HID headlamps
All Avensis models feature projector-style headlamps that deliver an excellent light pattern on the road, contributing towards safer night-time driving. Depending on your preferred model, auto levelling HID (High Intensity Discharge) Xenon headlamps that give near daylight illumination are also available.« Back
